Following in the footsteps of Toyota which immediately took off fueled cars fuel cell (hydrogen), now turn to other manufacturers of blue continent who helped realize the same thing. To rival Toyota FCV, as reported by Motoring, Monday (04/08/2014), BMW will soon introduce their hydrogen vehicles. Reportedly, the car will take the design of the model I3. Meanwhile, the Japanese giant Toyota FCV promised is able to speak a lot. This car can accelerate from zero to 100 km / h in 10 seconds. Once a full charge, the FCV is able to walk as far as 482 miles.
To find out, hydrogen is an alternative fuel that can be obtained from a variety of energy sources, including solar and wind power. When compressed, this energy has a higher density than batteries.
Meanwhile, hydrogen fuel has a number of advantages. One of them is the only form of light emission of water vapor from the reaction between hydrogen and oxygen. In a test, the Toyota FCV could even go as far as 700 km with a fully charged hydrogen tank. Toyota claims the car with hydrogen fuel proved more environmentally friendly than other energy sources that are used in modern cars today.
However, unlike the Toyota FCV debuting next year, the new BMW i3 will begin to greet the market in 2016. So far, there has been no further information about the complete technical specifications of the hydrogen-fueled cars.
