The first generation BMW 1 Series is a small family car manufactured by BMW since 2004, this series replaces the BMW 3-Series Compact as a vehicle smallest and cheapest of the range BMW vehicles. As of May 2013, and 5pintu 3-door hatchback has been replaced by the F20 and F21 models, while coupe E82 and E88 convertibel still produced.
BMW Series-1 uses rear-wheel drive chassis, the weight ratio of 50:50, a longitudinal engine and suspension aluminum multilink suspension. BMW M boss, Dr. Kay Segler announced the manufacture variants of the 1 Series M Coupé dated July 9, 2010 through the official media statement. Dated December 9 2010, BMW officially using car details of this in the media.
1M Coupé uses a twin-turbocharged N54 engine which is also used in other models. For this car, this engine produces power 340 hp (254 kW) at 5900 rpm with a torque of 332 lb · ft (450 N · m) @ 1.500 to 4.500 rpm. Transmission available is a 6 speed manual with a limited slip differential.
