Subaru Forester

Subaru Forester is a crossover SUV type car compact produced by Subaru of Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI), Japan. Using the platform of the Subaru Impreza, Forester was first made based Streega concept car on display at the Tokyo Motor Show 1995.

Production Subaru Forester began in 1997 for the 1998 model year cars like other Subaru, Forester used engine with Boxer configuration, and driving 4WD Symmetrical All Wheel Drive, although there is a cheaper version with front-wheel drive.

Forester competitor is the Toyota RAV4, Ford Escape, Nissan X-Trail and Honda CR-V.
