Koenigsegg Automotive AB (Swedish spelling: [køːnɪɡsɛɡ] (listen), English: [kʌnɪɡsɛɡ]) is a high-performance sports car company from Sweden. The company is based in Angelholm.

The company was founded in 1994 in Sweden by Christian von Koenigsegg, with the aim of creating a world-class supercar.

In 2006, the Koenigsegg CCX production start, the engine is made specifically for the car alone. CCX legal to drive on public roads in many countries, including the United States.

In March 2009 the Koenigsegg CCXR selected by Forbes as one of the 10 most beautiful cars in the world.
